Coming out of the Blanket Exercise in February, there is a book club meeting that deals specifically with reconciliation, especially between indigenous and non-indigenous peoples in Canada. The book club will meet 5 times every 4-6 weeks. The first get-together was a discussion about A Quality of Light by Richard Wagamese. We will meet again at the church to discuss and glean from the book Unsettling the Settler Within by Paulette Regan. Remember the book needs to be read before the book club meets!
